RESO~UTION ltO. 19, SERIES OF 1968
A RESOLUTION AMENDING PARAGRAPH 3 OF RESOLUTION
NO. 18, SERIES OF 1968, WHICH ADOPTS AND APPROVES A PAY
PLAN FOR MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES IN THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE ·
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF 16.6-13 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD.
WHEREAS, the Board of Career Service Commission-
ers has heretofore reconunended to City Council a pay plan
for municipal employees in the classifed service, which pay
plan has been considered by City Council, and
WHEREAS, City Council has determined to adopt
as the pay plan for the classified employees of the City,

of that recommended plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, as follows:
3. That the step level of all present employee
shall remain the same, even though such employees, or some
of them may receive an increase in grad as a result of the
adoption of this pay plan, unless or until a change is
made therein by the Board of Career Service Commissioners,
pursuant to the authority granted to said Board by Chapter
6 of the Municipal Code: provided, however, that any employee
who received an increase in grade as a result of the adop-
tion of that plan commonly referred to as "PPC", but who
did not receive an increase in salary as a result of the
"PPC" shall immediately receive a one-step increase. Nothing
herein shall be construed to prohibit the .Board from con-
tinuing to establish the entrance level salaries for new
employees or from granting or denying anniversary salary
increases in accordance with the provisions ef Chapter 6
of the Municipal Code. In the event of the establishment
of a new job classification by the Board, the Board shall
recommend to Council the grade level therefore and Council
shall establish the new classification's grade level by
written resolution.
