it is its intent to create a local improvement district, to b e known

each year thereafter until all are paid in full.
4. That the property to be assessed for said improvements

5. That there shall be prepared an ordinance in conformity
with the provisions of the City Charter and Ordinance No. 14, Series of
1965, creating within the corporate limits of said City a local improve-
ment district to be known as Sidewalk Improvement District No. 68:
providing for the construction in said District of the improvements,
all as is in this Resolution set forth and described, and in accordance
with the report, plans, maps, specifications, details and estimates
of the Director of Public Works of said City, herein referred to.
6. That the proposed ordinance will be introduced as a Bill

day of June, 1968.
7. That a public hearing upon the creation of such district
and upon the Bill for an Ordinance, referred to above, shall be held
before City Council at City Hall, 3400 South Elati, Englewood, Colorado,
to commence at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Monday, June 17, 1968 and that
notice of the proposed improvements be given by City Clerk and publish-

general circulation in said City, in three consecutive weekly editions,
therein giveing Notice to the owners of the property to be assessed
of the matters and things required by law. At or about the time of
the first publication, Notice shall also be given by prepaid mail to
all known owners of property to be assessed with the cost of said im-
provements.
8. The hotice to be published shall be in substantially the
following form:
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING UPON CREATION
OF A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT IN
ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, TO BE KNOWN AS
SIDEWALD IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 68,
TO MAKE CERTAIN INSTALLATIONS AND IMPROVE-
MENTS TO SIDEWALKS THERIN, AND OF A
HEARING UPON A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE
CREATING SUCH DISTRICT.
All owners of real estate and property hereinafter described,
and all persons generally, are hereby notified that the City Council
of Eng l e wood, Colorado, pursuant to its own order, under the provisions
of its home-rule charter, has approved and adopted certain surveys,
estimates, maps, plans and specifications for the installation and
construction of sidewalks within and for a proposed local improvement
district within the corporate limits of Englewood, Colorado, to be
known as Sidewalk Improvement District No. 68, has adopted a resolution
of its intent to create such district and has directed that a Bill
for an Ordinance, creating such district, be introduced at its regular
meeting on Monday, June 17, 1968.
Said persons are further notified as follows:
(a) The improvements to be installed in
said district consist of the necessary instal-
lation, removal and replacement of concrete
sidewalk, curb and gutter, together with the
appurtenances and incidentials, in the City's
right-of-way contiguous to the following

(c) The probable total cost of the improvements
within said district is $12;·692 and the amount
of funds of t h e City which i s to be devoted to

balance of the total probable cost (being
approximately $11,707) is to be paid by special
assessments to be levied upon each parcel of the
real property hereinabove described.
(d) All assessments levied against the aforesaid
parcels of real property will be due and payable,
without demand, within thirty days from and after
h e fjnal publ i c~tio n of ~n ordinance assessing the
c ost of said improvements agai nst the real property in
the district. In case any owner of real property shall
fail to pay the whole of such assessment against his
property within said thirty days, then, the pro
