HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968 Resolution No. 023I I I RESOLUTION NO. 23, SERIES OF 1968 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PARK BY PARK EXPENDITURE AUTHORI- ZATION IN THE PARK IMPROVEMENT FUND. WHEREAS in previous years the Park Improvement Fund has received lump sum appropriations and the City Council is now desirous o .f establishing a park by park budget for such appropriations, and WHEREAS it is anticipated that the Park Improvement Fund will have received by December 31, 1969 an accumulated total of $1,678,327.00 in revenue, of amount which $1,594,614 has been appropriated and the remaining $83,713 will be appropriated in the 1969 appropriation ordinance, and WHEREAS, in excess of $1,180,000 of expenditures have already been charged against said fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOO, COLORADO as follows: Section 1. That the following budget is hereby established for Park Improvement Fund expenditures even, though, in a number of cases, the amount set forth for certain appropriations has already been expended. Transfers of appropriations within the Park Improvement Fund shall be made on the following basis: ATTEST: (a) Transfers between parks or from the unbudgeted fund balance to a park, shall be authorized only by the City Council. · (b) Transfers between an expenditure series within a park, i.e., Series A -Land Acquisition, Series B -Basic Site Improvements, Series c -Major Structures and Facilities, Series D -Miscellaneous Improvements, may be authorized by the City Manager.
