HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967 Resolution No. 032I I I RESOLUTION NO. 32, SERIES OF 1967 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE INSTITUTION OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS TO ACQUIRE CERTAIN PROPERTY UPON WHICH IS TO BE CONSTRUCTED A RESERVOIR AND APPURTENANT IMPROVE- MENTS. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY o~· ENGLEWOOD as follows: 1. Th at t he C i Ly o f En g lewood does hereby, pursuant to statute, determine to construct and has authorized the construction, a s a public work and improvement, of a reservoir and appurtenant improvements in Grand County, Colorado, as a portion of the Ranch Creek Transmountain Diversion Project of said city. Such con- s t ruct i on to be made for the public purpose of supplying municipal wate r to the water works of this city. 2. That the City Council of the City of Englewood, pur- suant to statutory authority, does hereby find and determine that construction of aforesaid public works and improvement, consisting in part of a reservoir and appurtenant improvements, constitutes a public necessity. 3. That the Council further finds and determines that acquiaition of title to the following described real property is necessary to permit construction of said public improv ement consisting of the aforesaid reservoir and appurtenant improvements as follows, to wit: All of the NW~ of Section 13, Township 1 North, Range 75 West of the 6th P.M.
