MEMORANDUM
TO: A 11 City Employees
FROM: Andy Mccown, City Manager
DATE: December 8, 1975
SUBJECT: GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ELECTION
The Englewood City Council has called an election for December 23, 1975,
for the issuance of $2, 225, 000 in General Obligation Bonds for the
construction of a 104-unit housing project for the elderly. The Council,
along with the Housing Authority and city staff are now in the process of
getting out as much information as possible to the voters on this project.
Therefore, I am scheduling several sessions within the next few weeks
with the city employees to discuss this issue and to answer any questions
you may have concerning it. I would urge you to attend one of these
sessions so that you may make your decision based upon factual informa-
tion rather than conjecture or rumor. Even if you are not an Englewood
resident, I would urge your attendance so you can become knowledgeable
about the project and be able to answer questions from our local citizens.
If you wish to attend, please contact your department head or supervisor
