Gary,
il!ikY is guessing this is the
'lllfter ref erred to in the com-
plaint on precinct misinformation .
Apparently, Frances Howard had
five ladies filling out these
letters and trying to determine
the precincts for each individual.
Packy is guessing they looked at
the map incorrectly sometimes
when addressing these letters.

CITIZENS FOR THE CoMMUNITY
CENTER
I have examined the proposal for an Engl~d
c.omrunity Center and have decided it is a much needed
and beneficial project for the Engl~od comnunity.
For many years, we have discussed and studied the
needs and Ylailts of the ccmrunity in this respect and
the answer has always indicated the desirability of a
cormn..mity center. Now is our chance to rove out and
do it! Please support the carmunity center with a
11yes11 vote on May 17th.

A Mr. Ferland called. He was upset because he went to
~polling place where he thought he should go which
was Clayton School and of course could not vote be-
cause it was the wrong place. He should have gone
to the Adk Building on South Bannock, but did not
check this out until he called here. He feels the
person bepind the precinct lines was put up to pur-
posely foul up people on this issue. He feels he has
always gort the run around on where to vote. He stated
he read ~h e paper and it.was Clay ton School, but still
did not double check with us. He is upset because for
every eld ction -state, county , etc. is disturbing.
He suspects fraud and is going to report the matter
to the District Attorney.
I address is 4590 South Lipan, Precinct No. 13,
olling Place is 4101 South Bannock Adm Building
Telephone Number 781-1904.

Recentl~ in the mail we received a brochure re9ardin9 the Pro-
Posed En91ewood Communit~ Center and with it a cover letter from
the CITIZENS FOR THE ENGLEWOOD COMMUNITY CENTER si9necl b~ Jim
Ta~lor. In the letter we were instructed that our Precinct
Pollin9 Place was the Duncan School located at 4800 So. Penn.
St. When we 9ot there, our names were not on the votin9 list
and when we told the Poll workers that we lived in the 4500
block of So. Grant St., the~ said that we should vote ~t the
Cherrel~n School., our normal votin9 Place. We went there and

What is 9oin9 on in En91.ewood7 It seems that voters are bein9
mixed uP as to where the~ are to vote and PerhaPs because or
this man~ will 9ive uP and not vote. Wh~ not have the PeoPle

We 9ot home a couPl.e of hours a9o from the Po11.in9 Places. What
a da~ to be huntin9 for the ProPer Place to votei wind and
btowin9 snow made votin9 a chore but we rett that our choices
needed to be counted in t~e ballotin9.
Next time let's 9et squared ~wa~ and 9et the ProPer info~mation
to the electorate so that the~ won't have to run around huntin9
for the ri9hi:. votin Places .
