4. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2, CHAPTER 5, ENTITLED, "SOLID WASTES -
LITTER AND HANDBILLS," TITLE VI, `69 E.M.C. BY PROHIBITING ALL PRIVATE
RECEPTACLES FROM BEING PLACED IN PUBLIC THOROUGHFARES.
5. AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REENACTING CHAPTER 4, ARTICLE I AND ARTICLE II
OF TITLE XV OF THE `69 E.M.C., PROVIDING FOR THE CONTROL, OPERATION AND
MAINTENANCE OF THE SEWAGE SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO:
PROVIDING MEANS FOR THE ENFORCEMENT AND PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION
THEREOF: AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
THEREWITH.
6. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 22.5-5a(10) AND 22.8 OF THE COMPREHENSIVE
ZONING ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO, 26, SERIES OF 1963, ENTITLED, "PRIVATE
OFF-STREET PARKING STANDARDS FOR RESIDENTIAL USES", BY INCREASING THE
REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR EFFICIENCY UNITS AND FOR
GUESTS OR VISITOR PARKING, AND DEFINING THE SAME.
7. AN ORDINANCE CREATING AN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT IN THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD,
COLORADO, TO BE KNOWN AS PAVING DISTRICT NO. 21, ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION
THEREIN OF STREET AND ALLEY IMPROVEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF
BONDS OF THE DISTRICT IN PAYMENT FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR
NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS AND TO BIDDERS FOR SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
BONDS OF SAID CITY.
8. AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE WHOLE COST OF THE IMPROVEMENTS MADE IN AND FOR
SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 71 IN THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO;
APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE APPORTIONMENT OF SAID COST TO EACH LOT OR
TRACT OF LAND IN SAID DISTRICT; ASSESSING A SHARE OF SAID COST AGAINST
EACH LOT OR TRACT OF LAND IN THE DISTRICT; AND PRESCRIBING THE MANNER OF
COLLECTION AND PAYMENT OF SAID ASSESSMENTS.
9. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7, SERIES OF 1972, TO DELETE THE 3400
BLOCK OF SOUTH EMERSON STREET FROM PAVING DISTRICT NO. 21.
10. AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT ALLEY LOCATED ENTIRELY WITHIN BLOCK 6, PREMIER
ADDITION, CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, ARAPAHOE COUNTY, COLORADO, AND RESERVING
THEREIN THE RIGHT TO INSTALL, MAINTAIN, OPERATE, REPAIR AND REPLACE THE
SEWER AND WATER MAIN AND OTHER UTILITIES NOW LOCATED IN SAID PUBLIC ALLEY.
11. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE XV `69 E.M.C., BY ADDING DEFINITIONS,
INCREASING THE APPOINTED MEMBERSHIP TO THE WATER AND SEWER BOARD,
ESTABLISHING DATES FOR THE DELINQUENCY OF WATER BILLS, MAKING PROVISION
FOR NOTICE OF SHUT-OFF AFTER DELINQUENCY; ABOLISHING "VACANCY INSPECTION"
CHARGES; INCREASING CHARGES FOR WATER TURN-OFF OR TURN-ON SERVICES;
AUTHORIZING CUT-OFF FROM MAIN TO BE PERFORMED EITHER BY A STATE LICENSED
AND BONDED PLUMBER OR CITY WATER DIVISION PERSONNEL; REQUIRING SERVICE
PIPE TO CONFORM TO THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE SPECIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS;
DISCONTINUING THE SALES OF CERTAIN MATERIALS BY THE WATER DIVISION;
REQUIRING ALL CONNECTIONS WITH THE CITY WATER SYSTEM TO BE MADE STATE
LICENSED AND BONDED PLUMBERS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
12. AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE WHOLE COST OF THE IMPROVEMENTS MADE IN PAVING
DISTRICT NO. 20, IN THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO; APPROVING AND
CONFIRMING THE APPORTIONMENT OF SAID COST TO EACH LOT OR TRACT OF LAND IN
SAID DISTRICT; ASSESSING A SHARE OF SAID COST AGAINST EACH LOT OR TRACT OF
LAND IN THE DISTRICT; PRESCRIBING THE MANNER FOR THE COLLECTION AND
PAYMENT OF SAID ASSESSMENTS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
13. AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 3, CHAPTER 2, TITLE V, OF THE `69 E.M.C.,
ENTITLED "PAY PLAN" BY RELIEVING THE BOARD OF CAREER SERVICE COMMISSIONERS
FROM THE REQUIREMENT OF AN ANNUAL RECOMMENDATION OF A PAY PLAN.
14. AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE EASEMENT IN THE NORTH 16 FEET OF LOT 11, OXFORD
HEIGHTS, SECOND FILING, ARAPAHOE COUNTY, COLORADO.
15. AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE EASEMENT IN THE NORTH 16 FEET OF LOT 12, OXFORD
HEIGHTS, SECOND FILING, ARAPAHOE COUNTY, COLORADO.
16. AN ORDINANCE REPEALING TITLE XI, CHAPTER 8, SECTION 4, ENTITLED "MINORS IN
GAMBLING OR DRINKING HOUSES", AND REENACTING THE SAME WITH AMENDMENTS;
CONFORMING SAID SECTION WITH THE PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN CHAPTER 75,
ARTICLES 1 AND 2, C.R.S. `63 AS AMENDED (FERMENTED MALT BEVERAGES), AS
WELL AS CHAPTER 80, ARTICLE 6, C.R.S. `63, AS AMENDED (CHILD LABOR LAW).
17. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE (ORDINANCE NO.
26, SERIES 1963) BY ADDING THERETO A NEW SUBCHAPTER, 22.4A, ENTITLED,
"PLANNED DEVELOPMENT (P.D.) DISTRICT," AUTHORIZING SAID DISTRICT TO BE
SUPERIMPOSED UPON OR COMBINED WITH ANY OTHER ZONED DISTRICT WITHIN THE
CITY; REQUIRING THE APPLICATION, REVIEW AND APPROVAL THEREOF; AND
PROVIDING STANDARDS THEREFORE.
18. AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLES I AND II, TITLE XI, CHAPTER 11, OF THE `69
E.M.C. ENTITLED, "ANIMALS AND FOWL", AND REENACTING THE SAME WITH
AMENDMENTS.
19. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENT BONDS OF THE
CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, FOR PAVING DISTRICT NO. 21; PRESCRIBING THE
FORM OF THE BONDS, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE BONDS AND THE
INTEREST THEREON.
20. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9, TITLE III, OF THE `69 E.M.C., THE
"UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE" WITH CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
21. AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA & SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY,
STATE OF COLORADO, A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN A RAIL SPUR THROUGH
THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
22. AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTIONS 1 AND 2, CHAPTER 5, TITLE XIII, OF THE `69
E.M.C. CLOSING THE `SPECIAL ADJUSTMENT FUND' INTO THE GENERAL FUND AND
WATER FUND OF THE CITY.
23. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING, SECTION 2, CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE I, TITLE XII OF THE
`69 E.M.C., AUTHORIZING RESIDENT HOMEOWNERS TO CONSTRUCT SIDEWALK, CURB,
GUTTER, CURB CUTS, OR DRIVEWAYS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS.

30. AN ORDINANCE FOXING THE TAX LEVY IN MILLS UPON EACH DOLLAR OF THE ASSESSED
VALUATION OF ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO,
FOR THE YEAR 1973.

BROADENING THE TERM `RETIREMENT' AS USED THEREIN.
33. AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 4, ARTICLE 2 OF THE `69 E.M.C., REENACTING
THE SAME WITH AMENDMENTS PROHIBITING THE MANUFACTURE, SALE, USE AND/OR
POSSESSION OF FIREWORKS AS DEFINED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR THE
REGULATION AND LICENSING OF PUBLIC OR PRIVATE DISPLAYS THEREOF.
34. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1, CHAPTER 5, TITLE XIII, OF THE `69 E.M.C.,
