on the East by South Broadway , o n the Sout h by West Layton Avenue , and on the
West by the alley between South Acorn.a Stree t a nd South Broadway , a s a "C-1-"
District;
be , and it is h e reby , declare d a "C-1" District , subject to the use , height , and
area reBulationsfor such dis trict un der Ordinance No . 31 Series of l9h0 1 and
the Buildin ~ Zone Map which is a part thereof.

exclusive of gara r e or o ther attached building, a minimum land area
per fam i ly of 7200 square feet , and a min imum f rontae e of 60 feet ,
exc ep t t hat said l a nd are a restricti on shall not apply to property
own ed by a single o~e r of a less size at the time of the passage of
this ordinance , it beinP ~xnress ly p rovided that there must, however,
be a minimum land area in such ra s e s of 6000 square feet and a minimum
site frontage of 50 feet ;

area reeulations for such district under Ordinanc e No . 3 1 Series of 1940 1 and

as described a s Parcel 1 in Se c tion 1 hereof as be ing all black, designating said
area as a "C -1 11 District for use , height an d are a regulations .

Section 4. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares that
t his Ordinance is necessary for the immedi a te preservation of the public peace ,
health , safety a nd convenience .
Section 5.In the opinion of the City Council an emer ~ency exists; therefore ,
thsi Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its final passage
and publication .
