A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COMPENSATION PLAN SYSTEM FOR CONFIDENTIAL AND
SECRET '!AL EMPLOYEES OF THE C ITV OF ENGLEWOOD FOR THE YEAR 1990 .
WHEREAS, by Charter amendment effective April 13, 1981, City Counc i 1
provided for the establishment of confidential and secretarial employees for
the City of Englewood; and
WHEREAS, by virtue of duties assigned to these positions by the City
Man ager , it has been determined that they are confidential and are therefore
excluded from membership, participation, or representation in any collectively
bargained Employee system or Career Service system of the City of Englewood ;
and
WHEREAS, under the Compensation and Benefits Pl an for confident i a 1 and
secretari a 1 emp 1 oyees of the City, City Counc i 1 desires to establish th e pay
rate for the year 1990;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EN ·
GLEWOOD, COLORADO, THAT:
Section I. The pay for confidential and secretarial employees of the
City of Englewood for the calendar year 1990 shall increase by 3%.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED the 18th day of December , 1989.

Englm,ood 19 89 1,age rate wa s below metro -area pr eva iling wage s. The proposed 3%
cos t -of-livi ng in crea se will keep pa c, with in crea ses be ing received by ot her
mun ic ipa l employe es within th e me tro-ar ea and will not r es ult in wage rate s greater
than that within th e me tro-area .
