Approval of resolutions establish ing pay rate s for Man agerial and Confidential Emp I oyce s .
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACT! ON ti-hi s i ssue was discussed during the City Counc il Study Session on December 11, 1989.
Admini s trative Serv i ces has co ndu cted a review of comparable wages rates for the
Man ager ial and Confidential Emp loyees. The review indicated that in many areas, the
Englewood 1989 wage rate was below metro-area pre vaili ng wages . The proposed 3%
cost-of-living increa se will keep pace with in cre as es being received by other
municipal .employees within the me tro -area and will not result in wage rates greater
th an that within th e metro-area.
