HomeMy WebLinkAbout2024-06-03 (Regular) Meeting Minutes MINUTES City Council Regular Meeting Monday, June 3, 2024 1000 Englewood Parkway - 2nd Floor Council Chambers 6:00 PM 1 Study Session Topic a) Director of Finance Kevin Engels was present to review the Monthly Financial Report. b) Sustainability Coordinator Melissa Englund and members of the Sustainability Commission were present to provide code update recommendations to City Council to reflect the use of United States Western Native Plants. c) Director of Parks, Recreation, Library and Golf Christina Underhill and Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation Brad Anderson were present to discuss the Parks and Recreation General Obligation Bond. The meeting recessed at 7:04 p.m. for a break. Mayor Sierra removed Agenda Item 9(c)(ii) from Consent Agenda. Moved by Council Member Anderson seconded by Council Member Russell to approve Consent Agenda Item 9(c)(i). a) Approval of Ordinances on First Reading i) Amendment to Municipal Code regarding maximum penalties to align with state law [Clerks Note: This agenda item was removed from the Consent Agenda motion and considered independently.] Moved by Council Member Rita Russell Seconded by Council Member Kim Wright Motion to table agenda item 9(a)(i) until date uncertain.
