BACK&ROUlll The National Electrical Cod~ is updated by the National Fire Protection Assoc i~tion every three years in order to keep pace with changing construction technology and life safety concerns. Colorado State statutory requirements (Title 12-23-104) mandate that all electrical installations in Colorado minimally conform to the State-adupted standard which is currently the 1990 National Electrical Code .
