I. CALL TO ORDER

The regular meeting of the A lli ance for Commerce in Englewood (ACE) was called to order
at 11 :39 a.m. in the City Counci l Confe rence Room of the Englewood Civic Center, Chair
Sarconi presiding.
Present: Schalk, Sarcon i, Champion, Ca londer, Knoth, Weinberger
Absent: Vasilas, Whyte (alternate)
Also present: Colleen Mello, Englewood Chamber of Commerce
Staff present: Alan White, Communi t y Development Dir ec t or

Darren Hollingsworth, Economic Development Coordinator
Mike Flaherty, Deputy City Manager
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
December 8, 2011
Chair Sarconi stated that the Minutes of October 13 , 2011 were to be considered for
approval. It was determ in ed there was a quorum. Chair Sarco ni asked if there were any
changes or adjustments to the Minutes. There were none.
Weinberger moved:
Knoth seconded: THE MINUTES OF OCTOBER 13, 2011 BE APPROVED AS WRITIEN.
The motion carried unanimously.
II. ACE BUSINESS

ACE Strategic Plan -Business Attraction/In ce nti ves
Mr. Hollingswo rth reviewed what was discussed at the October meeting and stated he
brought notes from that meeting. H e sa id City Counc il has req u ested a li st of what other
cities are doing in regards to in cent ives . When completed he will als o present that list to
ACE. A request was made to provide information to ACE on what in centives the C ity has
given in the past.
