The meeting was called to order at 5:30 in the City Council Conference Room .
2. Introductions
Introduction of Will Charles, new Planner I and staff liaison for KEB . The
Commissioners also introduced themselves .
3. Approval of Minutes

4. Guest Speaker-Mark Woulf
Mark discussed the involvement of the Energy Action Plan in which the city has
partnered with Xcel energy to adopt a plan for municipal, residential , and
commercial energy savings . Staff is looking at ways to educate the community .
5. Old Business
T-shirts
Keep Englewood Beautiful shirts were distributed by Nathan and it was
discussed on wearing the shirts during city events.
Litter Index
It was discussed about how much litter different areas of the city has . Google
Docs has Excel spreadsheet to document.
Hazardous Waste Sign Up
The Household Hazardous waste drop off that was held September 9, was a
huge success with over 319 citizens disposing of materials . The event is to be
held again September 16, and staff is to take pictures of the event ..
Police clean up, October 21
To sign up to volunteer for clean up you need to signup on city's website
through the police departments page . You can get the time of event and more
information on the page.
Leaf and Tire
The event is October 29 , and November 12. Location and time information will
be provided at a later date. Volunteers to be determined.
Boards and Commission Appreciation gifts
The City of Englewood held a dinner for all the Boards and Commissions
members in appreciation for their hard work and volunteering . Gifts were
handed out to all the members which included a pass to Pirates Cove and
Englewood Arts Concert for the 2018 year.

Kristin leave of absence
Kristin will still be on the board but will be unable to attend because of school,
she is to return in January.

Audra discussed Commissioners getting in contact with Debra Severa from the
Parks and Recreation Board and attending their meetings.
Audra discussed that Michelle Brandstetter from the Library asked if the
committee would like to be involved in Earth Day Events . Bob Stephenson is to
contact Michelle .
Council Liaison's Choice
Ms. Martinez discussed council public hearing on proposed budget, Art Bus
rebranding , Englewood Block Party , Englewood Trolley refreshed, email
marketing tool for public .
Commissioner's Choice
Commission discussed partnering with Mayor Joe Jefferson's initiative for local
opportunity for service hours.
Commission discussed the "chip & seal" street resurfacing project the city is
doing on Sherman between Mansfield and Oxford .
Commission discussed researching the environmental aspects of organized
trash collection in Englewood .
