Mr . Lull presented subdivision plans for several ranch-type homes with basements.
The questions of drainage and setback were discussed. Mr. Lull plans to land-
scape and terrace these houses and install garbage disposals. Mayor Allen raised
the question of who was to do the grading on Elati Street and Chairman Janssen asked
if Lull would be willing to cut down the street to the official grade. Mr. Lull
declined to agree to do so at this time. Mr. Allen moved that the Board approve
the preliminary plans, with setbacks of 15 to 20 feet. Mr. Jones seconded the
motion, which was carried.
Mr. Hornbein presented his suggested drawing for a two-foot wall for the Bannock
Street side of the new Miller's store; Mr. Wright, and Mr. Fory, representing the
property owners in the neighborhood and Mr. Lydon of Miller's discussed the proposed
wall and fence with the Board. It was pointed out that the wall must be in line with
the property line in the rest of the block. Chairman Janssen asked that details of
the wall and fence be worked out between Mr. Hornbein and the architect for Miller's
Groceteria. He also presented Mr. Lydon a copy of a permit agreement for the
consideration of the attorney of Miller's.
Mr. Hornbein presented for the consideration of the Board maps concerned with the
re-zoning of Englewood. These were discussed and suggested changes are to be in-
corporated by Mr. Hornbein into another map which will be presented to the Board at
their next meeting.
The next meeting was set for Friday, December 15, at 2:30 P. M.
The meeting was adjourned at 5 P. M.
Respectfully submitted,
Elizabeth R. Beier, Acting Secretary
