Zoning Studies
That Council accept the proposal for zoning studies, as set out in the
letter of February 20, 1957 , by Harman, O'Donnell & Henninger Associates
Inc., at the stipulated fe e of $750.00 which would include the identical
areas as was shown in th e recommendation from the Planning Commission
under date of January 31, 1957.

UNIFORM SYSTEM OF SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS
That the attached UNIFORM SYSTEM OF SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS be adopted.

ENGLEWOOD PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
SPECIAL SESSION
March 2, 1957
The members of the Englewood Plannin g Commission met, in a special session, at 2:00 P. M.
Saturday, March 2, 1957 at City Hall.
Members Present: Barde, Braun, Guilford, Jones, Romans, Rudd
Members Absent: Rapp
The purpose of this special meeting was to make a field inspection of the general area
located between East Girard Avenue and East Floyd Avenue and between South Clarkson Street
and the Grant-Logan alley for possible zoning change, in whole or in part, from present
R-1-D Zone District to R-3 Zone District. Also, to be considered, was the Eastern portion
of the Swedish National Sanatorium Tract, now zoned R-1-D, between East Hampden Avenue and
East Girard Avenue.
After touring the area, the Commission returned to City Hall for further discussion and
consideration.
Rudd moved:
Romans seconded: That the Planning Commission proceed to advertise, post and hold a
public hearing on March 28, 1957, as to the rezoning of the following
area from present R-1-D Zone District to proposed R-3 Zone District;
The South 100 feet of Blocks 1 and 2, Westview Addition and the East
one-half C!) of now vacated Block 8, Westview Addition.
Ayes: Barde, Braun, Guilford, Jones, Romans, Rudd
Nays: None
Absent: Rapp
There being no further business to come before the Englewood Planning Commission, the meeting
was adjourned at 3:30 P. M.
