Call to Order 2. Roll Call 0505 ~ 3. Present: Absent : Kinton , Bleile , Brick , Fish , Freemire , Madrid , Pittinos (arrived 7 :02 ), Austin , (arrived 7:10) Coleman (Excused), Townley (Excused) Also Present: Brook Bell , Planner II , Current Planning John Voboril , Planner II , Long Range Planning Approval of Minutes September 7, 2016 Fish moved; Freemire seconded: To approve the minutes of September 7 , 2016 Ayes: Nays: Abstain: Absent: Brick, Fish, Freemire, Madrid, Kinton None Bleile Coleman, Townley Motion carried. 4. Study Session 2016-05 Ground Floor Commercial Requirements in the MU-B-1 and MU-B-2 Zone Districts Mr. Bell reviewed information from the previous study session and presented the options developed by staff for altering the zone districts . The Commissioners have the option of eliminating the requirement completely or altering the requirement for new commercial buildings in the MU-B-1 and the MU -B-2 zone districts. ~ The consensus of the Commission is to alter the code to include a ground floor ce ili ng requirement or abolish the requirement. 5. Study Session 2014-01 Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) Mr. Voboril reviewed the previous study session discussions and outlined the conclusions reached in previous meetings. The Commissioners continued the discussion regarding dimensional standards and zone districts where ADU 's may be allowed . • • • 6. Public Forum Planning and Zoning Commission September 20 , 2016 This is an opportunity for the public to bring forth issues to the Commission . Comments will not be allowed on pending development applications which must be presented during a formal Public Hearing . Jeremy Lambert , Englewood resident , addressed the Commission in favor of ADU 's. Staff's Choice The October 4 th meeting w ill be a discussion of ground floor commerc ial requirements and accessory dwelling units . P~ Attorney's Choice City Attorney Comer was not present at the meeting . 9. Commissioner's Choice Mr. Pittinos and Mr. Madrid suggested that the Chair adjust the agenda to accommodate members of the public who are present at the meeting for Public Forum . 10.
