Chairman Nilsen announced that the purpose of this meeting is to review the
renumbering of the precincts which is required due to the reapportionment of
Districts recently established by City Council. The Charter calls for the
Election commission to establish the precinct numbers. The redistricting was
discussed. The Commission expressed concern that there are different polling
places for School, City and County elections. Consequently, all of the
Members felt that it was of vital importance that the registered voters in the
precincts which have changed be notified individually.
Ms. Crow explained that this will be accomplished through a mailing to all the
affected precincts.

PRECINCTS AS PROPOSED BY CITY CLERK CROW BE APPROVED.
