HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-02-28 EC MEMO• • • MEMORANDUM TO: All Full-time Employees in the Classified Service FROM: Election Commission DATE: February 28, 1992 SUBJECT: CAREER SERVICE BOARD ELECTION On March 5 and 6, 1992, there will be an election to fill the vacancy on the Career Service Board. The term of office is for four years commencing March 15, 1992. The candidate for this position is: WILLIAM G. BELT The Municipal Code requires that an election be conducted regardless of the number of candidates. Therefore the established polling places and times for this election will be: City Hall 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Police/Fire Center Patrol Room 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jefferson Station 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Servi center 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Allen Filter Pl ant 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wastewater Treatment Pl ant 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Election Commission will accept written requests for absentee ballots if an employee whose official duties for the City prevent him or her from being present at a polling place or who may be on authorized leave on election day. Absentee balloting may be performed by contacting the City Clerk's office prior to 5:00 p.m. on March 4, 1992. No write-in votes will be counted. PATRICIA H.
