MEMORANDUM
TO: All Full-time Employees in the Classified Service

DATE: January 3, 1992
SUBJECT: CAREER SERVICE BOARD ELECTION
A vacancy on the Career Service Board will be created by the expiration of the
term of office of William G. Belt on March 15, 1992. This office is to be
filled by a vote of the full-time, permanent, classified employees. This is a
four-year term which expires March 15, 1996. Qualifications of person to be
elected are stipulated in Section 138:3 of the Charter.
The election has been s~t for March 5 and 6, 1992.
Nomination petitions for candidates may be circulated beginning January 30,
1992, and are available in the City Clerk's office. Petitions must contain at
least 25 bona fide signatures of full-time, permanent classified employees.
Signatures of unclassified employees will be disqualified. Petitions for
candidates must be received by the City Clerk no later than February 19, 1992
at 5:00 p.m.
