Belt, submitted a letter of resignation from the Englewood Career Service Board effective August 31, 1993. His term expires March 15, 1996. Enclosed is a proposed election schedule for the upcoming Career Service Board Election. Also enclosed is a copy of the official petition format as well as the announcement of the election to all full-time classified employees. I don't believe it is necessary for us to meet to approve these items . Please look them over and if you have any comments, give me or Lou a call . If I don't hear from you by Monday, July 19th, I will assume everything is okay and we will proceed with the schedule. It will be necessary for us to meet in August to do the following : -verify the petitions -certify the candidates -designate a Commission member to assist the City Clerk in counting votes · on August 30, 1993 I have scheduled the meeting for~.!:!~ a~., but that date can be changed if it is not convenient.
