HomeMy WebLinkAbout1993-07-19 EC MEMO~~ POST OR CIRCULATE FOR ALL EMPLOYEES TO SEE~ ~ MEMORANDUM TO: All Full Employees in the Classified Service FROM: Election Commission DATE: July 19, 1993 SUBJECT: CAREER SERVICE BOARD ELECTION -AUGUST 26, 1993 A vacancy on the Career Service Board will be created by the resignation of William G . Belt effective August 31 , 1993 . His term expires March 15, 1996. This office is to be filled by a vote of the full-time, permanent, classified employees. Qualifications of the person to be elected are stipulated in Section 138 :3 of the Charter. The Election has been set for August 26, 1993. Nomination petitions for candidates may be circulated beginning July 22, 1993, and are available in the City Clerk's office. Petitions must contain at least 25 bona fide signatures of full-time, permanent, classified employees. Signatures of unclassified employees will be disqualified . Petitions for candidates must be received by the City Clerk no later than August 11, 1993 at 5 :00 p.m. If you have any questions about the election please refer to Title 3, Chapter 2 of the Englewood Municipal Code '85, or call the City Clerk's office -extension 2405 . .. &zru ~~c.$ ~f Patricia H .
