The parking management officer has conducted extensive public relations training sessions for numerous businesses on Windemere, Lipan, and Mariposa regarding the Oxford RTD station. The vehicle auction was held June 24th, at which 40 cars were sold. There was discussion that the RTD light rail north parking lot at the Civic Center might increase to two stories to accommodate more cars. Floyd Avenue will be getting a brick wall, and alleys north of there will be getting paved. Lynn was impressed with the weed notices being much lower than the same month last year. Dave Lynn and Nancy Wilson visited Colorado Springs to examine a hand-held computerized parking/ticket control device being used there.
