the exhibit and told the members that it was their decision if they wanted to purchase
one of the pieces. Recreation Manager Joe Sack stated that there is $43,000 in the
art fund. Sack then reported that it is a difficult show to purchase from because not
all pieces are for sale . Sack suggested that if the Cultural Arts Commission is
interested in purchasing a piece of art from the exhibit each year, that it may be
worthwhile to put into wording of the guidelines to note if the piece of art is for sale or
not. Commission members discussed if there is interest in purchasing a piece of art
from this year's exhibit.
