CALL TO ORDER
City of Englewood
CULTURAL ARTS COMMISSION
Minutes of December 1, 2010
The regular monthly meeting of the City of Englewood Cultural Arts Commission was
called to order at 5 :45pm by Chairperson Bertoluzzi at the Civic Center City Council
Conference Room.

REVIEW OF AGENDA
Bertoluzzi asked if there were any changes or additions to the agenda. There were none . • • III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Bertoluzzi asked if there were any changes or corrections to the minutes of
November 3, 2010. There were none. The minutes were approved as
presented.
IV. INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS
There were no guests .
V. NEW BUSINESS
There were no items for New Business .
VI. OLD BUSINESS
Commission Member Schnitzer gave an update on the community garden.
In regard to last month's recommendation from the Englewood Art Fest Exploratory
Committee to table Englewood Art Fest and place it back into the the responsibility of a
City Department, Director Black told the Commission that the Committee's
recommendation has been forwarded to City Council.
VII. COMMITTEE REPORTS
There was no update for Public Art.
Bertoluzzi informed the Commission that the annual Olga Wolosyn Memorial Concert on
November 28th was very successful and attendees included Mayor Jim Woodward .
Schnitzer gave an update on the November Parks and Recreation Commission meeting.
Schnitzer discussed two grant applications that the Department of Parks and Recreation
will be submitting applications for including the Centennial Park Loop Trail and a planning
grant for Riverside Park. Discussion followed.
VIII. UPCOMING EVENTS
Bertoluzzi announced that the next Englewood Arts concert will be "A Half-Baroque
Christmas" on December 18th in Hampden Hall. Bertoluzzi discussed KVOD radio (88.1)
possibly broadcasting Englewood Arts concerts on Sunday mornings prior to each
upcoming concert. Discussion followed maintenance issues with Hampden Hall. Black
stated that building maintenance is down a number of employees due to budget.
IX. DIRECTOR'S CHOICE
Black wished commission members an enjoyable and safe holiday.
x. COMMISSION MEMBERS CHOICE
There were no items for Commission Members Choice .
XI. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 6:40pm.
