Director Black presented an update of the 10,000 Trees Program, Phase II of which is scheduled for 1991 along the South Platte River from Union Avenue north to the pedestrian bridge at Bear Creek. Urban Edges, heading the 10,000 Trees Program, requested that the City contribute $25,000 to the project and maintain the drip sprinkler system and trees that are provided under the program.
