one reason for statistics going down or up.

The Board thanked Karen Pilgrim for her leadership for the previous two years as Library Board
Chairperson.
Mr. Long brought forward for discussion the past 5 year comparison of Library usage. There was
discussion of the Circulation statistics going up and down, the fact that Denver Public Libraries and other
Library districts have used more and more of their budgets for CD's and DVD's. Ms . Scaggiari suggested
sending information to the schools to be included in packets that the Elementary schools send home with
students each week. This would be one way of getting information out to more people about programs
going on at the Library. Another suggestion was to send information to the schools at the beginning of the
school year at Back -to -School Nights.
