Mr. Long brought to the Board 's attention the Malucci Media Drive for Children's Hospital. At a recent City

The next item for the Board's attention was the remaining money in the Library Board's budget for the year
2000. Several years ago Councilperson, Alex Habenicht as the Council liaison to the Board had made the
suggestion to give the remaining Library Board budgeted money to the Library for purchase of Library
materials. The amount of money left in this year's budget is $2,400. The amount is larger this year due to
no meetings during the City move and no Board Members attended any conferences this year . Ms.
Smithers suggested that some of this money be used to purchase a plaque listing the names of all past
Library board members to be hung in the library. A discussion of this idea followed .
00 -20 Motion: That $100 be expended to support the Malucci Media Drive.
Moved by: Bervette Williams
