NONEMERGENCY EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT BOARD MEETING
November 13, 2007
Board Member Gryglewicz called the regular meeting of the Englewood NonEmergency Employees Retirement Plan
Board to order at 4 :02 p .m. in the Public Works Conference Room of the Civic Center, 1000 Englewood Parkway,
Englewood, Colorado.

Update of possible one-time supplemental payment for retirees.
Mr. Gryglewicz discussed the issue and indicated that City Council did not wish to proceed with a one-time benefit.

Innovest Portfolio Solutions, LLC
Ms . Dominguez and Mr. Todd presented the third quarter portfolio review.
Consideration of benefit for Gerald Baumer.
Gerald Baumer, terminated employment on October 31, 2007 and requested retirement benefits to commence November
1, 2007.
MR. BOWMAN MOVED TO APPROVE A TEN YEAR CERTAIN AND LIFETIME BENEFIT OF $240.39 PER
MONTH FOR GERALD BAUMER BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 2007. MR. PATEL SECONDED.

Consideration of Benefit for Peter Juenemann.
Peter Juenemann, has been receiving long-term disability benefits from the City of Englewood since December 17, 1991.
Mr. Juenemann attained age 65 on November 12, 2007.
MR. HAGAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE I 00 PERCENT JOINT AND SURVIVOR MONTHLY BENEFIT OF
$924.54 FOR PETER JUENEMANN BEGINNING DECEMBER I, 2007. MR. BOWMAN SECONDED.

Notification of Death of Dale Clawson .
Dale Clawson , retiree, passed away on August 26 , 2007. Mr. Clawson elected a ten year certain and lifetime benefit at
the time of his retirement in 1995 . The final payment was paid on August 31, 2007. No further payments are due .
Notification of Death of Howard McCollum.
Howard McColl um, retiree, passed away on August 10, 2007. Mr. McColl um elected a ten year certain and lifetime
benefit at the time of his retirement in 1989. The final payment was paid on August 31, 2007 . No further payments are
due.
Notification of Death of Malcomb Atkins .
Malcomb Atkins, retiree, passed away on October 15, 2007. Mr. Atkins was given a ten year certain and lifetime benefit
at the time of his retirement in 1983. The final payment was paid on October 31 , 2007 . No further payments are due .
Consideration of Lump Sum distribution to Beneficiary of John Smaldone.
John Smaldone, former employee with a deferred vested retirement benefit, passed away on August 20, 2007 . Mr.
Smaldone had not yet attained age 55 at the time of his death. The beneficiary, Joseph Smaldone, has requested the
Board consider a lump sum distribution.
MR. GRYGLEWICZ MOVED TO APPROVE THE LUMP SUM DISTRIBUTION OF $69,946 .15 TO JOHN
SMALDONE'S BENEFICIARY JOSEPH SMALDONE ON NOVEMBER 30, 2007. MR. BOWMAN SECONDED .

Mr. Patel and Mr. Davault reported on attending the Colorado Public Plan Coalition conference in Winter Park.
