April 10, 2003
A telephone poll was done by the Recording Secretary of the Englewood Non-Emergency
Pension Board.
At the February meeting, Mr. Moore requested a projection of the required contributions for plan
years 2004-2008. The actuaries should assume a 0% return in 2003, and 7 .5% thereafter. The
2003 valuation will be presented at the May board meeting. The projections will be available at
that time, and the Board can see possible results as the assets start reflecting the deferred losses.
This information may be useful in helping the Board and the City plan for future funding
requirements .
The Board is being asked to approve expenses not to exceed $3,500.
