HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-05-20 EDDA MINUTES• BRADFORD PUBLISHING CO., DENVER RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS ENGLEWOOD DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTIIORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS SPECIAL MEETING Tuesday,May 20, 1980 Board Members Present: Artzberger, Gasson, Holthaus, Kaufman, Maxwell, Neal, Robohm Board Members Absent: Staff Members Present: Guests and Visitors: Allen, Coleman, Glenn, Mausolf Keller, Thompson Rich Wanush Board Chairman Kaufman called the meeting to order at 7:43 AM. The only business scheduled for consideration was the discussion and determination of a method of property assessment to be recommended to City Council for the parking lot, mini-park, and walk-thru project in the 3400 block of S. Lincoln and S. Broadway. The three methods worked out for each property parcel were reviewed and upon motion by Board member Robohm and second by Holthaus, Method One was approved to be recommended to Council. Motion carried. Executive Director Keller reported that a prospective buyer for the Public Service Building at 3470 S Broadway was to call at the E.D.D.A. office to discuss a possible purchase. Board member Neal moved and Robohm seconded that an asking price of $160,000, plus E.D.D.A. expenses of appraisal, attorneys fees, survey and other normal closing costs be added to form a final asking price. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:49 AM. Respectfully Submitted, Secretary
