BOARD OF DIRECTORS SPECIAL MEETING

Board Chairman Holthaus called the meeting to order at 12:12 P.M.
The minutes of the July 9, 1980 Board of Directors Regular Meeting were approved
as published. Motion by Robohm, second by Allen. Motion carried.
The minutes of the July 14, 1980 Board of Directors Special Meeting were approved
as published. Motion by Allen, second by Robohm. Motion carried.
The Treasurer's Report for the month of June, 1980 was approved upon motion by
Allen, second by Robohm. Motion carried.
Bills in the amount of $5,813.50 were approved for payment upon motion by Allen,
second by Mausolf. Motion carried.
Upon motion by Allen, second by Mausolf, the Executive Director is requested to write
a letter to Browne, Bortz and Coddington expressing the Boards concern about whether
the business interview respondent had full knowledge to be able to answer the questions
of the survey.
d.b.a./ENGLEWOOD Executive Director Chris Thompson reported the success of the Farmer's
Market promotion the last two Tuesdays, an ad campaign to get more of the crowd
attracted to the Farmer's Market to shop in other areas of the business district. A
news article on the Boulder Mall activities was distributed with a request for an
opinion whether more entertainment programs should be planned for the downtown areas.
Elaine Good, Ride Share Coordinator for DR COG presented a report on the Van
Pool Program. Free computer match service is available for individuals and groups
seeking help in forming a car or van pool.
Upon motion by Kaufman, second by Mausolf, the contract to purchase the Public
Service property is to be executed by the E.D.D.A. with the following changes:
1. the words "and/or assigns" be included in the purchasers name line. 2. the
date of delivery of the Deed be 240 days from the date of the contract.
Under "Board Member's Choice", Kaufman suggested that there be an opportunity for
rebuttal at City public hearings. Board Chairman Holthaus and Council Board member
Neal expressed thanks and appreciation for the Board's participation in the Public
hearing for the assessment district on July 14, 1980.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:25 P.M.
