The Executive C.orrmittee reconmended the following resolution to the Board: The Fngl~od Ix>wntown Development Auth:>rity has given its approval to a cbwntoYll developIIEnt plan. After this approval was given, the Engle~od Jbwntown Development Autrority entered into agreement with City C'.ouhcil that the Urban P.enewal Authority ~uld be used strictly as a financing vehicle and ~uld not be used in any other fashion. It is the opinion of the Fngl~od 'O:JwntoYll Development Authority that the expanded urban renewal role will not receive the support of the general corrmunity. ~-.;:FURE, BE IT RESOLVED, as o-1: this rrnment, the F.'nglewoo<l Dot,ntown Develop- IIEnt Authority finds that it cmmot support the plan presented by the Urban Renewal Autoority. :r.'urther, the Engl~d Ibvntm-n Development Authority shall not be a legal signatore to this Urban Renewal Plan. There being no further business, the meeting was adjOUD1ed at 6:00 PM. After this approval was given, the Fnglewood Downtown Development Authority entered into agreement with City C.Ouncil that the Urban Renewal Autmrity ~uld be used strictly as a financing vehicle and would not be used in any other fashion.
