CITY OF ENGLEWOOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
November 10, 1987
CALL TO ORDER.
The regular meeting of the City Planning and Zoning Commission was called to
order by Chairman Carson at 7:00 p.m.
Members present: Such, Barbre, Mulhern, Russell, Carson, and Romans, Ex-
offi ci o.
Members absent: Allen, Hanson and Jolk.
II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES.
October 20, 1987.
Chairman Carson stated that the Minutes of October 20, 1987 were to be con-
sidered for approval.
Mulhern moved:
Russell seconded: The Minutes of October 20, 1987 were to be approved as
written.

III. FINDINGS OF FACT.
Chairman Carson stated that the Findings of Fact for Rocky Mountain Construc-
tors, Case #16-87, should be considered for approval.
Russell moved:
Such seconded: That the Findings of Fact for Rocky Mountain Constructors,
Case #16-87, be approved as written.

PUBLIC FORUM.
Fred Benson, Scout Master of the L.D.S. Chapter stated that he had brought his
troop to attend a Planning Commission meeting in order for the boys to work
toward merit badges. · Scouts Jeremy Shaver, Derek Pope, Jeff Cl ark, and James
Clark asked various questions of the Commission.
V. DIRECTOR'S CHOICE.
Mrs. Romans stated Mr. Jolk is in Nevada until after Thanksgiving. When he
returns he plans to attend the Commission meetings. He did not know that his

job would require his missing Planning Commission me etings when he accepted
the appointment.
Mrs. Romans said that the City Council had moved its meeting to November 17,
so she suggested the Commission move its meeting to November 24. The Commis-
sion agreed.
Mrs. Romans reported that the Arapahoe County Commissioners have prepared the
requests which will be submitted to the Highway Department for the 1988-89
Work Program, and several of Englewood's requests were added , including the
study of Hampden (U.S. 285) from University to Santa Fe and of Belleview from
Clarkson to Federal.
VI. COMMISSIONERS' CHOICE.
Mr. Carson stated that Mr. Maunakea had passed away on November 7 and said
that Mr. Maunakea greatly appreciated the Certificate sent to him by the City
a few days before his death. He said that a plant had been sent to Mrs.
Maunakea in the names of the Commissioners and the Staff.
VII. ADJOURNMENT.
The meeting adjourned at 7:35.
