The regular meeting of the Englewood Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order by Chairman Thad Carson at 7:00 p.m. Members present: Allen, Barbre, Russell, Such, Hanson and Carson. Members absent: Jolk and Mulhern. II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES. November 24, 1987. Chairman Carson stated that the Minutes of the meeting of November 24, 1987, were to be considered for approval. Russell moved: Barbre seconded: The Minutes of November 24, 1987, be approved as written. AYES: NAYS: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Such, Barbre, Russell, None. Hanson. Jolk and Mulhern. The motion carried. A 11 en, Carson. III. ANGLE SUBDIVISION, PRELIMINARY PLAT Findings of Fact. CASE #18-87. Mr. Carson stated that the Findings of Fact for the Preliminary Plat for Angle Subdivision were to be considered for approval. Barbre moved: Hanson seconded: The Findings of Fact for the Preliminary Plat for Angle Subdivision be approved as written. AYES: NAYS: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Such, Barbre, Russell, Allen, Hanson, and Carson. None. None. Jolk and Mulhern. The motion carried. IV. ALL AMERICAN AUTO CENTER #5, PRELIMINARY PLAT Findings of Fact. CASE #25-87. Mr. Carson stated that the Findings of Fact for the Preliminary Plat for All American Auto Center #5 be considered for approval . -l - A 11 en moved: Russell seconded: That the Findings of Fact for the Preliminary Plat for All • American Auto Center #5 be approved as written. AYES: NAYS: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Such, Barbre, Russell, Allen, Carson. None. Hanson. Jolk and Mulhern. The motion carried. V. ANGLE SUBDIVISION Subdivision Plat -Final. CASE #18-87. Susan Hirsch, Senior Planner stated that the applicants have agreed to meet all requirements set at the time of the preliminary plat consideration. She submitted a copy of the agreement which will be signed before the final plat is submitted to Council. Allen moved: Hanson: The Final Plat for Angle Subdivision be approved and referred to the City Council with a favorable recommendation. AYES: NAYS: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Such, Barbre, Russell, Allen, Hanson, and Carson. None. None. Jolk and Mulhern. The motion carried. VI. ALL AMERICAN AUTO CENTER #5 Subdivision Plat -Final. CASE #25-87. Ms. Hirsch stated that the applicants had complied with the conditions placed on the approval of the Preliminary Plat. A note binding them to the installa- tion of a four-foot sidewalk along South Federal Boulevard was included on the Pl at. A 11 en moved: Such seconded: The Final Plat for All American Auto Center #5 be approved provided a bond be posted with the City to ensure the installa- tion of a four-foot sidewalk along the entire South Federal Boulevard frontage, and that the Plat be referred to the City Council with a favorable recommendation. AYES: NAYS: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Such, Barbre, Russell, Allen, Hanson, and Carson. None. None. Jolk and Mulhern. The motion carried. VII. PUBLIC FORUM -2 - • • ,. • • • No one in the audience wished to speak . VIII. DIRECTOR'S CHOICE. Mrs. Romans stated that there were no cases scheduled for the December 22 meeting; and, in view of the holiday season with its busy schedules, the staff had prepared Findings of Fact for both Final Plats which had been considered at the meeting. She asked if the Commission would wish to review those Find- ings at this time. If the Findings are in order, and are approved, it would not be necessary to hold a second meeting in December. The Commission agreed, and read the proposed Findings, noting that some addi- tions would have to be made to reflect members present, and the condition at- tached to All American Auto Center #5. IX. ANGLE SUBDIVISION, FINAL PLAT Findings of Fact. CASE #18-87. Mr. Carson stated that the Findings of Fact for the Final Plat for Angle Sub - division were to be considered for approval. Allen moved: Hanson seconded: The Findings of Fact for the Final Plat for Angle Subdivision be approved as written. AYES: NAYS: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Such, Barbre, Russell, Allen, Hanson, and Carson. None. None. Jolk and Mulhern. The motion carried. X. ALL AMERICAN AUTO CENTER #5, FINAL PLAT Findings of Fact. CASE #25-87. Mr. Carson stated that the Findings of Fact for the Final Plat for All Ameri- can Auto Center #5 be considered for approval. Allen moved: Russell seconded: That the Findings of Fact for the Final Plat for All American Auto Center #5 be approved as written. AYES: NAYS: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Such, Barbre, Russell, Allen, Carson. None. Hanson. Jolk and Mulhern. The motion carried. Mr. Carson agreed to go to City Hall the following day to sign the updated findings. Mrs. Romans wished the Commission a Merry Christmas. XI. COMMISSION'S CHOICE • -3 - The Commission wished everyone a Merry Christmas. Mr. Allen announced that as • a special Christmas treat he would not discuss trash collection. XII. ADJOURNMENT.
