Mr. Shivers reported on the progress made regarding The· Englewood Cabin•
Meadow Transaountain Diversion project and recanmended that, inaS11Uch ae
about all that remains to be canpleted in .securing the water are certain
routine actions which llWlt be taken on a local level, the City begin pre-

proceed to employ competent engineers to draw plans and
specifications for initial construction of The Engle-
wood Cabin-Meadow Transmountain J.livereion Procfect tran
Denver• s East line Canal to Cabin Creek and to make
prel1m1nar;y engineering study aoo cost estimate for
construction of Cabin Creek reservoir.

Chairman Allen led a discussion regarding methods to be taken in securing a larger
market for ater which discussion included a report by Mr. Rudd regarding the
present ca:gabillty of the filter plant and present va.ter available which will be
supplemented by the Colorado Central ?ot1er Canpany well water, the Valley Develop•
ment Ccnpany well water along with ditch water which that Canpany may be able to
make avail.able to the City of ~glewood and the Denver City Ditch water.
After much discussion, it was decided that the problem of an additional source or
revenue or a larger Jr..arket for the sale of water vaB of such immed:l.ate concern,
that the Water AdVisor;y Board should hold a joint meeting with City Councilo
Mayor Weigand advised that the Water Board would be welccme to meet with Council
Monday Evening, July 111 1955.
