however, .it was the una.n~ :i.inous opinion of those present that the City should adhere to its regulations re- lative to serving water outside the Cityo Thus, in your case, it would appear that the only way the area in question could "be served would be by either annexing to the existing Valley Water District or forming a separate district, either of which would receive consideration from the Water Advisory Board, subject to the approval of the Valley Water Districto Another attempt at a Water Advisory Board meeting on June 5th also resulted in the absence of a quorumo However, since now we have a formal written request11 the matter will, no doubt, be taken up at the next regular meeting on J~ 24th at which time a formal reply will be recommendedo I am enclosing, herewith, a copy o:f that tart of the Ordinance relative to service outside City Limits (Section B)o From this it would appear that your area ~---· · -woUld only come under either paragraph J=C or Paragraph 3-Do 4 Very t1~y yours 9 HHB;jc /S/ Harold Ho Babcock WZ. ter arid Sewar GoIDIIiissioner CC = Lo Ro Rudd 8 City Manage~ F..nclo - 1 After discussion» Robohm moved» Scotts secondedj That the City adhere w existing policy and regulations relative to water service outside the City ar.d that Carlile-Koelbel~ Realtors 9 Ayes: Nays: Absent: be advised that the only way that the City could provide water service to the requested area would _ba: lo Annexation to an existine water districto 2o Formation of a separate water districto 3o Annexation of the area to the City of Ert;lewoodo Frantz~ 0liner9 Purcell» Robohm 9 Scott None Milligan9 McCabe The matter of proper sewer "Head Tap" fees to be charged far future sewer connections outside the City was brought up next for discussiono After consideration of possible number of tai:-s which can be made before it will become necessary to expand the Englewood Sewage Disposal Plant and the estimated costs for &uch expansion» Roborim movedj Purcella seconded9 That the Water Advisory Board recom.rrend to Council that the initial "Haa.d Tap" fee for the proposed Arapahoe Sanitation District be set at Fifty Dollars (~~50o00) per tap for a period of two years after the signing of the connector9s agreement and that this fee will be subject to renegotiations upon the "two year anniversary date of said agr'3ement and bi=annually thereaftero A-yes: Nays: Absent: Frantz~ Oliner9 Purcell9 Robohm 9 Scott None Milligan» J,~cCabe In the discussion reGardini:;
