before the Board to inquire as to the amoUllt 0£ the sewer tRp fee that would be recommended
for their proposed trailer court near South Federal BJvda and Dear Creek in the S">.eridan

Mro Isaacson presented a map of the trall~r court layout and Nr., Gratts presented so da
on occupancy 1 water consumption and sew~ge disposal far trailer courts, taken from the
National plumbing Code
Considerable discussion was had relative to the ratio between an Average residenti l hou

and a trailero It was finally reconnr.ended that the City Manager and· Utilities Commiss i oner
ma)ce a further study and coioo up with a r econnnendation to City Council as to the basis for
determining hoN mar.\Y trailers should constitute a regular ta.po

Mro Purcell presented and there was read a statement as a natter of record of the happenings
at the meeting with the Tonn of Sheridan Officials at The Plantation Restaurant September
25, 1957, relative to the prospects of Sheridan using Englewood's plant for treatnsnt of
their sewageo Mro Purcell recommended t.o tabl.9 any further discussion until Mayor Elkins
of Sheridan arranges another meetingo

allocation of costs in the Blue River-South Platte Conservancy District Court case , as a
matter of information onlyo

they authorize the Special Counsel far the \'later Advisory Board

Mro Babcock, Utilities Commissioner, reported on the progress and status of the water l ine
construction to the General Iron Works Plant arxi the proposed construction to the Scenic
View Areao
Mro Babcock also presented a written report on the meeting with the officers of th:;, Scenic
View Water and Sanit;ltion District am the West Warren and Vallejo Water Associati on in
City Hall on November 191 19570 Copies were distributed to members of the Boardo Further
information was presented as t.o the locations of the existing water districts and some of
the problems involved in changing over from Denver to Englewood watero
Mro Babcock referred to the recent Supplemental Agreement Noo 2 with the Southwest Cherry
Hills Wa ter District in which said Agreement requested an additional area that did not
agree with the area as requested by letter from the District and previously approved by
the Water Advisory Doard and City Councilo

Mro Shiv-ers, Special Counsel, reported on the status of the exchange agreement with the
Denver Boa.rd of Water Commissioners relative to the transmission of Englewood •s trans-
mounta.in water through Denver's facilitieso It was the opinion of the Board that Mro
Shivers should investigate further relative to the possibilities of a more favorable
agreement with Denver and as to what other recourses the City might haveo
Mro Scott initiated some discussion relative to the problem of Littleton's sewage disposal 0
tir. Frantz, Chai.man, delegated Ur. ?IcCabe, !.fro Purcell and Mr. Kreiling to neat '11th
the Administrative Jfficials of the i"later Department before the next Water Advisory
Board Meeting for the purpose of going over the problems of the Water Department relative
to authority and inconsistencies in water and sewer rates ard other chargeso
Mr. Frantz, Chairman, after polling nsmbers of the Board, stated that the next meeting of
the Water Advisory Board would 1:-e held Wednesday Evening, January 1.5 1 19.580
There being no further business to come before the Water Advisory Board, the meeting wa s

Sewer Tap Fees for Trailer Court -Sheridan Sanitation District
That the sewer tap f ea for a proposed trailer court to be located
at South Federal Blvdo and Bear Creek, in Sheridan Sanitation
District, be set at a basic of three trailer house connections
equal to one "sewer tap", said basic having been arrived at by
the City Manager and the Utilities Commissioner, at the direction
of the Water Advisory Board, by calculations from !mown data and
average estimateso

Advisory Board to pursue in the realm of his best judgement any
protection that can be obtained for the City in the matter of
the Blue River-South Platte Conservancy District Court Case,
and that City Council be agressive in an attempt to persuade
the other towns involved to share in aey further expenseo
