Yr. Robert Bo Lee, Attorney, representing the South-East F.nglewood Water District, appeared
to discuss the following matters:
Mro Lee first made a request of The Water Advisory Board to consider permitting the inclu-
sion in the South~East F.nglewood Water District a 19 acre tract which is located directly
North of the F.hglewood high level storage reservoir and bounded on the North by East
Belleview Avenue o
Mr. Lee stated that no additional taps are being requested beyond thase norr authorized for
the Districto
After discussion,
McCabe moved,
Purcell, seconded, That The Englewood Water Advisory Board recommend to Council

that, upon receipt of formal request showing the legal description
of the above mentiomd tract, the same be approved for inclusion

At this time,, Yr. Lee reported that a representative from The City and County of Denver
had appeared before the South-East Englewood Water District Board to determine whether
the land owned by The City and County of Denver being all of Section 26 and the South
1/2 of t.he East 1/4 of Section 23, Ta 5 So, Ro la Wo, could be included in the South~
Bast Ehglewood Water District for water service from The City of Englewoodo
After discussion,
Purcell moved, .
McCabe, seconded, That consideration for permission for inclusion of the above described,
City and County of Denver owned, lands be deferred pending engineering
and other studieso

Yro Lee next stated that possibly there would be forthcoming, to the City, a formal request
for inclusion of an area in t.he South-East Englewood Water District, described as the East
1/2 of Section 34, To 5 So, ·Ro 68 Wo, bounied on the South by the County line and on the
West by South Broadway. Mro Lee stated further that this tract would be zoned for light
industrial useo
It was brought out in the discussion which followed that the tract is located outside of
the present City of Englewood Red Lineo
Mro Lee was advised that a formal request would be necessary before The Water Advisory
Board could consider any actiono
Mr. Scott was excused .from the meeting at this time.

plemental agreement, a part of Sheridan Hills, 2nd Addition, Arapahoe County 0
After discussion and reconsideration,
Milligan moved,
McCabe, seconded, That the request by the Valley Sanitation District, under date of
January 24, 19.57, for permission to annex, by supplemental agree-
ment, an additional non-contiguous area described as: All of Block
7, Lots 1 through 22 1 Block 8, Lots 7 through 22, Block 91 Lots 7
through 22, Block 101 and Lots 8 through 2.5, Block 11, Lots 1
through 33 1 Second Resubdivision of Blocks 12, 13, 14 and 1.5, All

in Sheridan Hills, 2nd Addition, Arapahoe County, be denied silx:e
the area does not cone under the conditions of the original contract
and the City is presently concerned with studies of sewage disposal
rates, head tap fees and available treatment plant facilities;
further, that the area involved is within the limits of another
municipality and it is not recommended that sewer service be extend-
ed into other municipalities at this ti?ne 0

Mr. Babcock, Commissiorer, presented and distributed a report showing the present sewer
service and the anticipated requirements at the end of five years; together, with data
relative to capacity and future expansion of the sewage treatment plant that might be
helpful in determining a head tap fee sufficient to pay for future expansiono
Mro Babcock, Commissioner, led a discussion on the possibilities of improving the water
pressure in the Southeast section of the City by means of a booster pumping stationo
Milligan moved,
McCabe, seconded, That The Water Advisory Board recommend to Council that they authorize
payment to llr. Dale Rea, Consulting Engineer, the amount of $)00000
for a preliminary report and cost estima.te of various possibilities

location along Big Dry Creek for the proposed route of the new 24" transmission pipeline
from the filter plant to the high level storage reservoiro
After discussion of the difftculties in obtaining right-of-way and other considerations•
McCabe, moved,
Purcell, seconded, That The Water Advisory Board recommend to Council that the new
24 11 transmission pipeline from the filter plant to the high level
storage reservoir be routed East on Belleview Avenue fran Whitaker
Lane to South Clarkson Street and thence, South on South Clarkson
Street to the reservoir junction lineo
