The assessment to property owners for water service in
accordance wi tl1 Seation A Paragraph 27 of Ordinance Noo 15, Series
of 1956, shall be as folla.~s:
wrrHlN RF..SIDBNTIALLY AND CO.TMFRCJALLY ZONED AREAS
For regularly shaped lots or tracts within Residentially
and Canrnereially zoned areas, the assass~nt for connection to
City-owned water mains shall be $3050 per front foot of property
served, regardless of the s:l.ze or the main install d in the stroe 1
and such f ieure shall include and cover lot depths up to 140 feeto
The f ollowine exceptions shall apply:
(a) In cases where such lots or tracts are of sufficient
depth to enable the owner to divide eaoh lot into ap9roximately
equa.1 parts by oeans of a stroet 01• alley dedication or otherwise
and in accordance with then existinG zoning regulations, the
assessr.ient will include and cover only one such part of t.he
original depth; and other tap assessments will be required for
any other parts of the lot at such time as any water tape a.re requested
for Sanso
(b) In cases of odd and irregularly shaped lots etr
tracts the front footage to be charged for shall be the average of
the widths at the front and at thj:) rear of the lots as best deter-
mined by canpu tatian or by scaling from accurately drmm platso
(c) In oases where an olmer has sufficient land or plat-
ted lots adjacent to the premises in which the residence or business
is located or planned to be located that would comprise one crr r.tore
additional residential or ctrlrlercial buildinc sites in accordance

(d) In all other cases not covered above~ the Director of
Utilities shall determine and use the requirement most nearly applicable

accordance with Section A Paragraph 27 of Ordinance ?loo l5 ~ Series

WITHIN RFSIDENTIALLY AND CCJ.1MfRCIALLY ZONED ARFAS
For regularly shaped lots 01• tracts within R0sidentially
and Canmeroial.ly zoned areas, the ass .ssront for connection to

and such f'ieure shall include and cover lot depths up ·to 140 feeto
The following exceptions shall apply":
(a) In cases where such lots or tracts are of sufficient
depth to enable too owner to divide each lot into ap?raximately
equal parts by ocans of a street or alley dedication or otherwise
and in accordance vlith then existinc zoning regulations, the
assessnent will include and oover only one such part of the
original depth; and other tap assessments Vlill be required for
any other parts of the lo·~ at such time as any water taps are raques ted
for sameo
(b) In cases of odd and irregularly shaped lots or
tracts the front footage to be charged for shall be the average of
the 1vidths at the front and at the rear of tha lots as best deter-
mined by canputation ar by scaling from accurately drawn platso
(c) In oases where an owner has sufi'ioient land or platr
ted lots adjacent to the premises in which the residence or business
is located or planned to be located that would canprise om or t'lore
additional residential ar cor.inercial building sites in accordance
