All mmbers present, including the invited former members of the Board, participated
freely in a discu~ion of the matter~
The opinions or the various participants varied, but eventually there was fai.i· agreement
upon a compromise or all ideas offered. after which,

It was reported that the engineers are attempting to agree on figures,, wcrking toward the
settlement or Aurora's use of water from tl'e Platte River~
The City-Manager and the Utilities Commissioner reported progress on their report concerning
possible sewaee treatment service tD the cities of LittJBmn and Sheridano
Kro Babcock, Utilities Commissiorsr, presented a tabulation showing present Englewood and
Denver misceUaneou.s water service charges,, together with suggested charges for Filglewood
to be adopted by the City-.a (See attached tabulation as a part of these minuteso)
After discussion and clarification,
Brownewell moved,

as corrected ~nd that the Water Advisory Board recormnerxi to Citq
Council that sams be adopted by resolu tiono

permanently installed swimming pools on residential premiseso

Provisions for Water and Sewer Board Unier Home Rule Charter
That the Charter provide for a llater and Sewer Board to have
such p08'ers and functions as may be delegated by Ordinance
of the City Council; that said Board be made U? or seven
members, one of whom is the Mayor serving concurrently' with
his term as Mayor, two of whom are Councilmen serving con-
curren~ with their terms as Councilmen and four of whom
are appointed by City Council from qualified electors to
serve terms of six years, the initial appointments to be
two members for terms of six years and two members for terms
of three yearso The Water and Sewer Board shall select its
own officers fran among its memberso The City Manager shall
appoint a representative from the City Administration who
shall participate in d .. Jliberations of the Water arrl Sewer
Board as an Ex-Officio member arrl without voting privilegeo

Charges for all water obtained from a fire hydrant by a contractor or any other person for use in puddling ditches,
flushing or any other use except for municipal purposes shall be paid to the City at the follolling rates:
