Scott Nays: None Absent: McCabe As directed, by the Water and Sewer Board at the regular meeting of July 1, 1959 , Mro Babcock, Utilities Director~ presented a report and study to indicate the possible increase in receipts for the various sewage and sewer funds deerned necessary to qualify the City of Englewood for an additional bond issue to finance the construction of the proposed enlargem.ent of the sewage treatment planto (See copy of' report attached as a part of these ntinuteso) ., After thorough cpnsideration of the entire report, it was the consensus of opinion of the Board that no recamnending action should be taken relative to .any change in rates, assesmnents ar taxes, relative to the purposes set out~ until contact has been made by the Bater and Sewer ' Board by meeting with representatives of certain bonding houses to varify the actual requirements that will be necessary for a new bond issueo It was also felt, unanimously, by the Board ., after reviewing the pre;:>-.ent sewage disposal rate schedu1ev that in any event, there were nUD1erous inequities in the rate structure that should be correctedo r~ 7 c;.1 It, was determined by the Board that the Chairman should appoint a committee of Water and Sewer Board members to maim the bonding house contact11 asking the City Clerk to also be in attendance at any meeting or meetings; all endeavoring to secure the neeess~ infonna.tion to report at the next regular meeting of the Boardo Mro Babcock was asked to make a further study and report on sewer rates and revenues 9 particularly with reference to the commercial catagories and multiple dwellings of more than two units, both inside and outside of the City limits9 presenting his findings along with his recanmendations for a tentative revised sewage disposal rate schedule for consideration by the Board at it 1 s next regular moetingo Lease and Agreement documents between the Tri=City Trust and the City of Englewood,, were presented by Mr., Shivers, which 11 when executed,f) will enable the City of Englewood to make use of 5~93 inches of water rights 11 held by the Tric-,City TrusttJ L"l the Denver City Ditch at an annual fee to the Tri=City Trust of $10000 and payment by the City of Englewood of all standard City Ditch assessments~ After short discussionp Purcell movedv Robohm seconded, That the Water and Sewer Board recommend to City Council that the Lease and Agreement,, enabling the City of F.ng.-,ewood to make use of 5o93 inches of City Ditch rights held by the Tri~City Trust~ be executedo Ayes: Br<nmewellD Frantz, Kreiling1> Purcell, Robohi'1l 11 Scott Nays: None Absent: McCabe Mr. Babcock made a short report on the status of the Boreas Pass holdings and stated that at the request of the State Engineer.9 a new Parshall flume is curren·tly being installed, and, at the request of the Forest Service, the location of the spillway course on the east side of the pass is being revised ..
