ADJOURNED HEETING ENGLEWOOD WATER AND SEWER BOARD .., MAY 191 1960 The meeting was called to order at 8:1.5 P.,, Mo 1 after having been.adjoumed .from 10t25 Po Mo, Monday, May 9, 19600 Hembers Present; Hembers Absent: Other Officials Present: Braun, Brownewel1 1 Frantz, Purcell .McCabe, Robohm, Scott Utilities Director Babcock, Consultant Shivers The matter of possible annexation, to the Valley Sanitation District and the Valley Water District, of a triangular plot of land located between South Lov1ell Boulevard and South Linden Drive, south of the Safeway Stores property which is just South of West Belleview Avenue, was immediately brought up for discussiono (See Water and Sewer Bom-d llinutes of April 11th and Hay 9th for further detailo) At the invitation o:f the Wate r and Sei·rer Board, Mro A. Ho Heiss , owner of the northerly part of the land and Mro Russell L,, Gre en, District Engineer, representing Standard Oil Company$ owners of the southerly part of the land1 were in attendance to join in the diacussiono Also invited to the meeting were all members of the Board of Directors for the Valley Sanitation District and the Valley Water District. However , only Mro Paul Eo Coen 3 President, appeared to represent those districtso Mro Weiss and Mro Green both stated that they had previously ma.de application to both the Valley Water District and the Valley Sanitation District and that the Sanitation District had been agreeable to the annexation from the begirutingo The Water District, however .,. had advised them that water service could not be allm1ed due to the fact that their consulting engineer had furnished them tYlth a report which indicated that the water system had reached capacity as it was then being operated~ Mro Weiss advised the Board that his proposed development involved a shopping center with ten stores and would require the equivalent of one 3" water tap and one J/4" water tapo Mro Green advised that the service station, no-w under construction on the Standard Oil Company land, would require one 1" water tap ..
