Code of the City or Englewood_, pertaining to waste of water and the penalty for same l!!hich involves the shutti~ off of water service unless the owner or occupant shall agree to the installation or a meter on the service line., Mro Babcock pointed out that the penalty provisicn» as now set forthi> is very impractical and virtually impossible to enforceo He suggested that consideration be given to another method of penalizing far waste of water() After considerable disoussicn3 Braun moved, Robohm, seconded, That the Water and Sewer Board recommend to Cit7 Council that. the penalty provision in Chap·ter 8:1 Paragraph 8o)i.9 of the Municipal Code of the City of Englewood be eliminated and that violation of such Paragraph be made subject te the general fines and penal ties of the Code as set cut 1n Chapter 27 o Ayes: Braun, Brownewell, Frantz., Oliner, Percet'ull, Robohnl Nays: None Absent: Parker Mro Dial, City Manager, and Mro Babcock) Utilities Director, led a discussion relative to the newly formed Scenic View Sanitation District which is located within the City of Englewood., The Board was advised that the addition to the City of this sewer system is being handled b7 a special improvement district, financed by special improvement bonds which will be paid through collection of assessments on properties benefited by the improvement within the distrieto The assessments will be computed on a square foot basis wich has been estimated to be $ 002009 per square foot to cover all construction costs,, It vas recommended, and all Water and Sewer Board members present agreed that this cost be considered as total cost for eonneetion pri.vilegeo ... City Trusto He indicated that the represell'liatives o:r Denver.t LittJ.eton and Englewocd were all agreed that the Tri ...
