MINUTES OF THE JUNE 13, 1988 MEETING. The Englewood Water and Sewer Board minutes of the June 13, 1988 meeting were approved as written. NEVADA DITCH Stewart Fonda discussed the proposed Lease Agreement between L. L. Tuck and the City of Englewood for Mr. Tuck to lease the right to use water represented by 31.91 shares of the Nevada Ditch Holding Company. The lease is from June 21, 1988 until October 31, 1988 and shall be used to irrigate Mr. Tuck's farm land located on the Nevada Ditch. If approved, Mr. Tuck will begin irrigating immediately. Mr. Fullerton moved; Ms. Lay seconded: Ayes: Nays: Members absent: Motion carried. 3. BI-CITY MASTER PLAN To recommend Council approval of the Lease Agreement between L. L. Tuck and the City of Englewood, giving Mr. Tuck tentative approval to begin irrigating immediately. Van Dyke, Habenicht, Kozacek, Resley , Fullerton, Gulley, Lay, Neumann, Van Seiver None None Interviews were held on June 17, 1988 for engineering firms to implement the Long Range Master Plan. Brown and Cauldwell was selected by the Bi-City Supervisory Committee and will be recommended to both city councils for approval. Negotiations are in progress and design work should begin in mid-August. 4. PETERSBURG LITIGATION Stewart Fonda discussed the trial progress. Three additional days of trial are scheduled starting August 22, 1988. David Hill will attend the September Water and Sewer Board meeting to discuss the trial with the Board. 5. LOWRY LANDFILL The Bi-City Plant has been named a potential responsible party in the Lowry Landfill toxic clean-up. Bi-City could be responsible for approximately 2% of the clean-up costs. It has not been decided if costs will be based on volume or toxicity. David Robbins will be representing Englewood in the litigation. The meeting adjourned at 5:40 p.m. The next Water and Sewer Board meeting will be 5:00 p.m. on August 2, 1988 at Sheri Gulley's house at 4409 s.
