WATER AND SEWER BOARD
MINUTES
APRIL 8, 1997
The meeting was called to order at 5:03 p.m.
Chairwoman Neumann declared a quo!um present.

1) MINUTES OF THE MARCH 11, 1997 MEETING.
The Englewood Water and Sewer Board Minutes from the March
11, 1997 meeting were approved as corrected.
Mr. Vobejda moved;

2. THE "PIPELINE" PUBLICATION.
The Board discussed the drafted "Pipeline" articles and
recommended minor changes. Mr. Wiggins suggested a sample
comparison bill to show an average bill with and without
using General Obligations Bonds.
3. SOUTH ENGLEWOOD MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT.
Stu updated the Board on the status of the South Englewood
Maintenance Agreement. An addendum was added stating that
the City would not be responsible for damages in the case of
a sewer backup. Mr. Marturano, attorney for South
Englewood, concurred with the addendum.
4. BI-CITY MEDIA FILTER COLLAPSE.
Stu reviewed the media filter collapse at the Bi-city
Treatment Plant. Stu noted that the media has been ordered
and odors may be noticed until the repair. An independent
consultant has been retained to determine cause of the
collapse .
The meeting adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
The next Water and Sewer Board meeting will be May 13, 1997
at 5:00 p.m. in Conference Room A.
