Prior to February of 1974, the Utilities Department had its own financial division. In 1974, however, it was com- bined with the Department of Finance. As a result of that combination, the Director of Utilities requested that a job description and title update for the position of Office Manager be made. The Personnel Director, after meeting with the Assistant City Manager and the Director of Utilities, recommended a change in title to Administrative Assistant, with the grade remaining the same.
