OF Fil'JA1 CE ENGLEWOOD MR. HANSON MOVED, AND MRS. TURNER SECONDED, TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF MARCH 18, 1976. Ayes: Nays: The motion carried. Hosanna, Turne1·, 1H:lnson, Brundage, White None * * * * Rev. Hosanna recognized that the Firefighters' Association had a representative present and thanked him for coming. The other two employee associations were not represented. * * * * Mr. Brundage asked for an explaination of the reply, of which the Board received copies, to Robert Young. Rev. Hosanna told them that a letter had been received asking about the recent Wastewater Treatment Plant ·Operator examination, and that it was only a letter of inquiry, not a formal grievance. Rev. Hosanna reminded the Board of the joint Career Service Board and City Council meeting, which would take place on April 26th. * * * * Under Personnel Director's Choice, Mr. Lorig told the Board that the Fire Lieutenant examination would be held on May 27the for eligible firefighters and Driver/Operator/Engineers. Mr. Lorig also told the Board that negotiations for 1977 would be starting again in the middle of May. The Board discussed briefly the City's impasse policy. * * * * MR. WHITE MOVED, AND MR. HANSON SECONDED, TO CERTIFY THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS VACANT: Two Police Officer positions One Driver/Operator/Engineer position -Fire 255 Ayes: Nays: The motion carried.
