Hosanna, Ed White, Bob Brundage, Bill Hanson Jo Ellen Turner ALSO PRESENT: Richard Lorig, Hugh Brown The minutes of the meeting of July 15, 1976 were approved as presented. * * * * The Board set aside October 14, 1976 to hear the proposed changes in the recruitment procedures for police officers. The hearing will be held in Conference Room "A" of the City Hall at 7:30 p.m. * * * * None of the three employee associations were represented. * * * * Under Personnel Director's Choice, 1.f:r. Lorig told the board that the problem brought before them . last month by Ed White regarding cleaning of uniforms had been resolved and that the turn-around time for cleaning should be about two days. He also told the Board that the City Manager had issued a new policy regarding Personnel Actions. It stated that an employee who is on probation after receiving a promotion would not receive an anniversary increase until his probationary period is completed. His anniversary date from then on would be the date his permanent status is attained. Hr. Lorig also presented a memo for Rev. Rosanna's signature regarding the extension of tenure for seasonal parks employees from six to nine months per year. The Board agreed that this was acceptable and Rev. Hosanna did sign his approval. * * * * MR. BRUNDAGE MOVED, AND MR.
