Acting Chairman Stan Damas opened the special hearing. A roll call was taken and
a quorum established.
Acting Chairman Damas announced the purpose of the meeting was to issue the
Career Service Board's decisions regarding the impasse between the City, the
Englewood Employees Association and the Englewood Police Benefit Association.
Commissioner Kerzic moved to adopt the recommendations set forth by the Board in
the written findings and recommendations as the decision of the Board on the 1990
contract impasse between the City and the Englewood Police Benefit Association.
Commissioner Turner seconded. A roll call vote was taken resulting in 3 ayes and
2 absent. The motion carried. Commissioner Turner read the findings of fact and
the conclusion into the record.
Commissioner Kerzic moved to adopt the recommendations set forth by the Board in
the written findings and recommendations as the decision of the Board on the 1990
contract impasse between the City and the Englewood Employees Association.
Commissioner Davidson seconded. A roll call vote was taken resulting in 3 ayes
and 2 absent. The motion carried. Commissioner Davidson read the findings of
fact into the record.
Commissioner Kerzic moved to close the special hearing. Commissioner Turner
seconded. The motion carried and the hearing was closed at 6:50 p.m.
